Who can wear a face mask?
People older than 2 years of age in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. Cloth face coverings may slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others. The face covers are not a replacement for medical grade masks, social distancing, hand-washing and other recommendations by your local health authorities.
Who should not wear a face mask?
Children under age 2 should not wear a mask. Anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance should also not wear a mask. A cloth face covering may not protect the wearer, but it may keep the wearer from spreading the virus to others.
Are the face covers enough to protect me against Covid-19?

Why are these non-medical face covers important?

The face covers are not a replacement for medical grade masks, social distancing, hand-washing and other recommendations by your local health authorities.
